Summary

This study tested a new drug called LY2157299, either alone or combined with a standard chemotherapy (lomustine), in 158 adults whose glioblastoma (a type of brain cancer) had returned after initial treatment. The goal was to see if the new drug or combination could help patients live longer or slow the cancer's growth compared to lomustine alone. Participants had to be in fairly good health and have stopped other cancer treatments before joining.
