New pill tested to tame severe arthritis flares

NCT ID NCT06800157

Summary

This study tested a new pill called LW402 to see if it could help control rheumatoid arthritis. It involved 72 adults who still had active, painful arthritis despite taking a standard medication (methotrexate). Participants took either LW402 or a placebo (dummy pill) for 12 weeks to compare effects on joint swelling, pain, and overall disease activity.
