Summary
This study aims to help patients with a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) and their family caregivers feel better mentally and improve their quality of life during the challenging first months after leaving the hospital. Researchers will provide information on mental health and ask participants to complete surveys to see if this support helps. The goal is to find better ways to support these families through a difficult recovery period.
