Targeted radiation attack on tough brain tumors in kids

NCT ID NCT05278208

Summary

This study is testing a drug called Lutathera in children and young adults (ages 4 to 39) with aggressive brain or spinal cord tumors that have come back or gotten worse after standard treatments. Lutathera is a targeted radiation therapy that seeks out and attaches to specific markers on tumor cells. The main goals are to find the safest dose for younger children and to see if the treatment can stop or slow tumor growth in adolescents and young adults.
