Summary
This study looked at whether using a bedside lung ultrasound in the emergency department for patients with shortness of breath can lower the risk of death or return to the hospital within 3 months. About 385 adults with breathing trouble were included. The goal was to see if this quick, safe test helps doctors make more accurate diagnoses and avoid wrong treatments.
