Ultrasound in ambulances could save lives by guiding breathing treatments

Summary
This study looks at whether emergency doctors can use a lung ultrasound in the ambulance to better diagnose why a patient is struggling to breathe. About 40 adults with severe shortness of breath will be included. The goal is to see if the ultrasound helps doctors choose the right treatment more often, compared to not using it.
