Ultrasound vs. antibiotics: a new way to treat kids with pneumonia?

Summary
This study looks at whether using lung ultrasound can help doctors avoid giving antibiotics to children who don't need them. About 659 children aged 3 to 10 with suspected pneumonia will be randomly assigned to get either standard care or care guided by lung ultrasound. The goal is to see if the ultrasound approach leads to fewer antibiotic prescriptions without harming recovery.
