NCT ID NCT05547698

First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026

Summary

This study compares two ways to perform double lung transplants: without a heart-lung machine (off-pump) or using a special heart-lung support called VA ECMO. The goal is to see which method leads to fewer serious lung complications and better survival. About 228 adults getting double lung transplants will take part.
