Breathing exercises in ICU: can they speed recovery for Oxygen-Dependent patients?
NCT ID NCT04441151
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special lung rehabilitation program helps patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) who are on high-flow oxygen therapy. Researchers will compare 70 patients who receive the rehab exercises with those who get standard medical care alone. They will measure improvements in breathing, muscle strength, and how quickly patients can get out of bed and leave the hospital.
