Simple lung test may guide fluid decisions in anesthetized children

Summary
This study looks at whether a non-invasive lung maneuver can help doctors predict if a child under general anesthesia will benefit from receiving fluids. The goal is to avoid giving unnecessary fluids when they won't help. The study will include 48 children having surgery at Boston Children's Hospital.
