New DNA test could spot lung cancer in tiny nodules

Summary
This study aims to improve how doctors tell if a small lung nodule (≤20 mm) is cancerous. During a routine bronchoscopy, a fluid sample is taken and tested for DNA changes linked to cancer. The goal is to see if this test is more accurate than current methods, potentially reducing the need for more invasive biopsies. About 60 adults with small lung nodules will take part.
