New MRI method could spot lung disease changes without X-Ray radiation
NCT ID NCT07300696
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special MRI scan can detect and track different types of interstitial lung disease (ILD) better than standard CT scans. About 200 adults with ILD will get MRI scans over time to see if the images can show which lung changes are reversible or getting worse. The goal is to find a safer, radiation-free way to monitor these lung conditions.
