Doctors test imaging tech to Fine-Tune life support
NCT ID NCT06536543
Summary
This study aims to learn if a special imaging technique can help doctors better adjust ventilator settings for patients with severe lung failure (ARDS). Researchers will use the imaging to see how different air pressure levels affect the lungs when patients are lying on their back or stomach. The goal is to gather information that could help balance opening the lungs with avoiding over-stretching them.
