Summary

This study aimed to describe the tiny blood vessels in the lungs of people with scleroderma or emphysema using a special microscope during a bronchoscopy. Researchers wanted to see how these vessels are damaged in each disease to better understand what causes the damage. Only 9 people took part before the study was stopped early.
