Doctors test aggressive combo to fight cancer spread to lungs
NCT ID NCT03599752
Summary
This study is testing whether combining chemotherapy with surgery to remove lung tumors works better than either treatment alone for colorectal cancer that has spread only to the lungs. Patients are divided into low-risk and high-risk groups, with each group receiving different treatment combinations. The goal is to see which approach helps patients live longer without the cancer returning.
