First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study uses a special type of MRI, called hyperpolarized xenon MRI, to take detailed pictures of the lungs in 260 healthy young adults. The goal is to find early signs of lung problems that could lead to chronic lung disease later in life. Participants are already part of a larger lung health study and will have one additional imaging session.
