Summary
This study is testing whether using special imaging technology to personalize ventilator settings during weight loss surgery can prevent lung complications afterward. Researchers will compare personalized settings against standard settings in 118 patients undergoing laparoscopic gastric sleeve surgery. The main goal is to see if this approach reduces pneumonia, breathing failure, and other lung problems in the first three days after surgery.
