New drug aims to boost cancer treatment effectiveness

Summary
This study is testing whether adding an experimental drug called TRC102 to standard treatment helps people with stage III non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer live longer without their cancer getting worse. About 42 participants will receive either the standard treatment (chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy) or the standard treatment plus TRC102. The goal is to see if TRC102, which blocks cancer cells from repairing themselves, makes the overall treatment more effective at controlling the disease.
