New combo therapy aims to boost lung cancer survival before surgery
NCT ID NCT07608159
First seen Jun 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This phase 3 study tests whether adding a special type of radiation (SF-SBRT) to standard immunotherapy (toripalimab) and chemotherapy before surgery can improve outcomes for people with stage II-III non-small cell lung cancer. About 201 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the radiation combo or standard treatment alone. The main goal is to see if the new approach increases the chance of being cancer-free two years later.
