Freezing tumors to boost survival in advanced lung cancer?
NCT ID NCT04339218
Summary
This study is testing if adding a tumor-freezing procedure (cryoablation) to standard drug therapy helps people with advanced lung cancer live longer. It will enroll 214 patients who will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard drugs alone or the drugs plus the freezing procedure. The main goal is to see if the combination leads to better one-year survival rates.
