New hope for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer: testing a powerful drug duo
NCT ID NCT03600701
Summary
This study is testing whether combining two drugs, atezolizumab and cobimetinib, can help control advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread or returned and has stopped responding to a common type of immunotherapy. The trial aims to see if this combination can shrink tumors and slow the cancer's progression in about 51 adults who meet specific health criteria. Researchers will also monitor side effects and study how the treatment affects the body.
