New drug combo aims to control advanced lung cancer

NCT ID NCT06194448

Summary

This study is testing whether adding the targeted drug osimertinib before and after standard chemoradiation helps control stage III lung cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. It will involve about 76 adults whose cancer has specific EGFR gene changes. The goal is to see if this approach keeps the cancer from progressing longer than current treatments alone.
