Breathing exercises may open door to Life-Saving lung cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT00618553

Summary

This study is testing whether a 3-4 week pulmonary rehabilitation program can improve lung function in lung cancer patients who currently don't qualify for surgery. The program includes supervised exercise training, education, and counseling to help patients build strength and breathing capacity. Researchers want to see if this approach can help more patients become eligible for potentially curative lung cancer surgery.
