Summary
This study tested a brief virtual mindfulness program designed to reduce stigma and health disparities among lung cancer patients, especially those from underserved groups. Researchers worked with a community advisory board of lung cancer patients to build the program. The study enrolled 108 adults with a history of tobacco use, including current lung cancer patients, and measured changes in stigma and quit likelihood.
