VA launches major push to catch deadly lung cancer earlier

Summary
This large VA study aims to increase lung cancer screening among eligible Veterans. It will test whether using personalized risk prediction tools, alongside support for doctors and patients, can get more people screened compared to current standard guidelines. The goal is to find cancer earlier when it's more treatable, especially for high-risk groups like Black Veterans.
