Can tackling Life's hurdles get more people screened for lung cancer?

NCT ID NCT06052449

Summary

This study tested whether adding a social needs assessment and support to standard lung cancer screening education could get more at-risk people to actually get screened. Researchers worked with 101 adults in New Jersey who were eligible for screening due to their smoking history. They compared two groups: one that received education plus help with social needs like transportation or cost, and one that received education alone.
