Blood test could revolutionize lung cancer treatment timing

Summary
This study aims to improve treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer by using blood tests to guide immunotherapy decisions. Researchers will track tumor DNA in the blood to determine when to continue, stop, or switch treatments. The goal is to develop personalized approaches that extend survival and reduce unnecessary treatment for 535 patients with stage IIIB-IV lung cancer.
