Blood test could warn of lung Cancer's return before scans see it

NCT ID NCT07186855

Summary

This study tested a new blood test to see if it could predict when lung cancer might come back after surgery. Researchers followed 500 patients who had surgery for non-small cell lung cancer. They checked for cancer cells in the blood before and after surgery to see if these cells could warn of recurrence earlier than standard scans.
