Testing a suction trick for better lung cancer biopsies

NCT ID NCT04116970

Summary

This study is testing a small change to a common lung cancer biopsy procedure to see if it gets better samples. Doctors are comparing tissue samples taken with and without a gentle suction during the biopsy. The goal is to see if suction helps collect more usable tissue with less blood, which could lead to more accurate lab tests for patients.
