Scientists map lung bacteria to crack code of mysterious lung disease
NCT ID NCT02779478
Summary
This study aims to understand how the community of bacteria in the lungs might be linked to a chronic lung infection called NTM. Researchers will compare samples from 200 people with lung symptoms, some with the NTM infection and some without. The goal is to identify specific bacterial patterns that could help explain why some people develop this hard-to-treat disease.
