Radioactive drug plus precision radiation may slow returning prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT05496959
First seen Jun 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether giving a radioactive drug (177-Lutetium-PSMA) before precise, high-dose radiation (SBRT) can better control prostate cancer that has returned in 1 to 5 spots after earlier treatment. About 93 adults with this type of recurrent cancer will receive either SBRT alone or the drug first, then SBRT. The goal is to see if the combination delays cancer growth longer.
