New hope to keep aggressive colon cancer at bay after surgery
NCT ID NCT07405736
Summary
This study is testing if adding a drug called lubiprostone to standard post-surgery care can help prevent cancer from returning in people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. Researchers will compare two groups: one receiving standard care plus lubiprostone, and one receiving standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the drug combination helps people stay cancer-free for longer and improves their quality of life.
