Mind over microdose: study tests if belief alone drives LSD's effects
NCT ID NCT07061886
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how a very low dose of LSD (13 micrograms) affects mood and behavior, and whether knowing you took the drug changes those effects. 48 healthy adults will be split into groups: some are told exactly what they receive (LSD or placebo), others are not. Researchers measure feelings, decision-making, and vital signs to separate the drug's actual effects from the power of expectation.
