Could less radiation be enough after cancer surgery?

NCT ID NCT04288375

Summary

This study is testing whether using a lower dose of radiation and targeting a smaller area after sarcoma surgery is as effective as the standard, higher-dose treatment. Researchers want to see if this approach still controls the cancer while causing fewer and less severe long-term side effects. The trial involves 65 adults who have had surgery to remove a soft tissue sarcoma in an arm or leg.
