MRI guides radiation to spare healthy tissue in prostate cancer treatment

Summary
This study is testing whether using MRI scans to guide radiation treatment can allow doctors to use lower overall radiation doses for prostate cancer. Researchers aim to reduce side effects like bowel problems while still effectively treating the cancer. The trial will enroll 60 men with intermediate- or high-risk prostate cancer who haven't had previous prostate cancer treatments.
