Study aims to reduce side effects of prostate cancer radiation

NCT ID NCT07391982

Summary

This study is testing whether doctors can safely lower the radiation dose to healthy parts of the prostate to reduce side effects, while still giving a high dose to visible tumors to control cancer. It compares two approaches in men with low or intermediate-risk prostate cancer. Participants receive two sessions of MRI-guided radiation and are followed for two years to monitor side effects and cancer control.
