Could less medication save more lives after a massive heart attack?

NCT ID NCT05168462

Summary

This study is testing if using a lower blood pressure target for patients in severe shock after a heart attack is better than the current standard. Researchers want to see if using less of a strong blood pressure medication (noradrenaline) helps patients survive and protects their kidneys. They are comparing a target of 55 mmHg to the usual 65 mmHg in about 776 adults.
