First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at 250 children having laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for appendicitis. It compared using low versus medium gas pressure to inflate the belly during surgery. The goal was to see if lower pressure leads to less pain the day after surgery. Results could help doctors choose the best pressure to reduce children's pain.
