Scientists scan guts to see if special milk digests better
NCT ID NCT06598124
Summary
This study aimed to understand how a special low-lactose milk containing a prebiotic fiber called GOS affects digestion compared to regular milk. Researchers recruited 24 healthy Chinese adults and used MRI scans to measure how their stomachs and intestines processed the two different milk drinks. The goal was to gather detailed information on gut comfort and movement, not to treat any medical condition.
