NCT ID NCT07484152

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests if low-intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) can safely reduce tremors and improve quality of life in people with essential tremor. Twenty adults with hard-to-treat tremors will receive both real LIFU and a fake (sham) treatment in separate sessions to compare effects. The goal is to see if this non-invasive, reversible method can ease symptoms without surgery or permanent changes.
