Summary

This study compares two diets—low FODMAP and a starch-and-sugar-reduced diet (SSRD)—to see which one better reduces IBS symptoms like belly pain, bloating, and bowel issues. About 200 adults with IBS will follow one of the diets and report their symptoms using questionnaires. The goal is to find out which diet works best and how it affects the body.
