Summary
This study is testing if starting medication for opioid addiction with very small, gradually increasing doses is safe and helps people stick with treatment. It will compare this gentle start to the usual way of beginning treatment in 70 adults with opioid use disorder. Researchers will use smartphones to track participants' withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and drug use in real time to see which approach works better.
