First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 09, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study is exploring if a very low dose of an existing drug, naltrexone, can help manage the severe pain and other symptoms of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Forty adults with CRPS will take either the low-dose medication or a placebo pill daily for six months to see if it reduces their pain and improves their quality of life. The main goal is to see if this type of long-term medication study is practical to run and to gather early data on whether the treatment is helpful and safe.
