First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a low-dose glucagon injection before moderate exercise can prevent blood sugar drops in 18 adults with type 1 diabetes who use an automated insulin pump. Participants will exercise after a meal, and researchers will compare blood sugar changes when using glucagon versus taking extra carbohydrates. The goal is to find a better way to avoid low blood sugar during and after exercise.
