NCT ID NCT04187703

First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a new way of giving two approved drugs (5-azacitidine and decitabine) to people with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) or related bone marrow disorders. Instead of standard high doses, the drugs are given in a low-dose, alternating schedule to reduce side effects and overcome drug resistance. The goal is to improve blood cell production and control the disease. About 20 adults will take part in this early-phase trial.
