First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether lower doses of two blood thinners (argatroban and enoxaparin) can reduce bleeding and clotting problems in adults on ECMO, a machine that helps the heart and lungs. About 200 participants with pneumonia or heart failure will be enrolled. The goal is to find a safer way to manage blood thinning during this life support.
