Diet showdown: which eating plan really controls diabetes?
NCT ID NCT05237128
Summary
This study compared two different eating approaches to see which works better for managing type 2 diabetes. 182 participants with diabetes followed either a very low-carbohydrate diet or a plate-method diet for one year. Researchers measured how each diet affected blood sugar control, body composition, and other health markers to determine which approach provides better diabetes management.
