ENROLLING_BY_INVITATION Disease control Sponsor: Mayo Clinic Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a specially designed, low-calorie, high-protein liquid food given through a feeding tube can help obese patients who rely on tube feeding to lose weight. The study will also check if the formula is well-tolerated and if it improves other health markers like blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol. It involves 12 participants who are stable on tube feeding and have a history of stroke.
