First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a low-calorie diet rich in medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) from traditional Minangkabau foods (like coconut milk) can improve metabolic health in 40 obese adults. Researchers will measure weight, waist size, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and leptin levels. The goal is to see if this diet can help shift people from unhealthy to healthier obesity.
