New hope for rare lung cancer: lorlatinib targets resistant tumors
NCT ID NCT04621188
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This phase 2 trial tests the drug lorlatinib in 54 people with advanced ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer whose cancer has stopped responding to initial targeted therapy. Lorlatinib is designed to overcome resistance and reach the brain. Researchers will measure how many patients' tumors shrink or disappear after 8 weeks of treatment.
